Three years ago in Livermore we had moved to a new home and it had a large dining room off of the kitchen. We had a lot of wall space and had decided to change the style of the home to industrial farmhouse. My wife Lori suggested a large painting of a cow for one wall, but I had recently given up red meat and thought the cow needed to say something about the dining space. I thought it would be amusing to paint her life size and have her constantly staring at the diners indignant at their choice of meal. She hangs there to date and always amuses our guests.
